Based in Sooke, British Columbia, I am an award winning photographer and videographer as well as a graphic designer, a Coxswain with the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary Station #37 in Sooke and I am also an entrepreneur and manage the daily operations of my graphic design and creative communications firm.
I founded Inktvis Creative, and have successfully grown the company to its current status, with a diverse portfolio and clientele. My other business is the successful Sooke Harbour Chamber of Commerce “2010 Tourism Business of the year”, Discover Sooke, a local and tourist informational website about our region.
I am schooled in graphic design and black and white photography. With a career based on these skills, I bring extensive knowledge and value-add services that few other photographers can. Not only do I expertly hand process each image, but I can also offers custom video and slideshow production, print design, birth announcements, holiday cards, and more.
While I appreciate all forms of photography, I continuously strive to improve my skills and push the boundaries of modern photography. I prefer to concentrate on artistic landscape, people and pet photography as well as video production. Combining my knowledge of post-processing with my passion for photographic imagery, my goal is to create stunning, and sometimes haunting, artistic images. Through rich tones and detailed composition, my images capture the ambience of the environment that allows reality to become an expression of the imagination.
